Surgeon Specialist in Academic and Clinical Leadership

We are seeking an accomplished surgeon with a strong academic background to lead our surgical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of patients before, during and after surgery, as well as participating in outpatient clinics.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of surgical services, including the design and delivery of training programs.
- To engage in research and academic activities, collaborating with colleagues to advance knowledge in the field of surgery.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience at Registrar level in Surgery, preferably in the UK and Ireland. They should be registered with the Irish Medical Council and hold MRCS or equivalent qualifications. A strong grounding in Surgery and a keen interest in research and teaching are essential.
A prior clinical research experience and/or publications are desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
