We are a renowned manufacturer of delicious doughnuts, and we're looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Shift Manager.
As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process. You will oversee and coordinate the activities of employees during their assigned shift, from the shopfloor.
This includes supervising staff, delegating tasks, and maintaining a smooth workflow. You will ensure that consistency, quality, Health & Safety, and productivity are maintained throughout the shift.
You will act as the most senior person on site in the absence of the site manager and enforce company policies and procedures, address any issues that arise during the shift, and provide guidance and support to team members.
About the Role:
- Food Manufacturing experience is essential for this position.
- Leadership and People Management experience within an FMCG/Food environment is required.
- Experience in continuous improvement processes and methodology is highly desirable.
- IT literacy with good verbal and numerate skills is necessary.
- Strong communication skills are essential for this role.
