Kernel and BIOS Software Engineer

A software engineer with expertise in Linux Kernel and BIOS is required to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C or C++ and Python, as well as hands-on experience working on Linux Kernel software. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to design a solution, and implement it successfully are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate new CPUs and work with CPU/BIOS vendors to integrate their stacks into the operating system.
  • Bring up and qualify components into hardware products.
  • Extend and develop new kernel features related to functionality that relies on them.
Requirements:
  • BS Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in C or C++ and Python programming.
  • Hands-on experience working on Linux Kernel software is preferred.
  • Understanding of IP networking and/or distributed systems is a plus.
