We are seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Team Lead to join our team at Peninsula Ireland. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the health and safety advisory team.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a proactive approach to enhance the client experience, focusing on retention and business growth.
  2. Coach advisors on technical client queries related to health and safety matters and act as a point of escalation.
  3. Ensure the team is fully updated on Group products and services to drive referrals and engagement.
  4. Complete training with new and existing team members, aligning with our learning and development framework.
  5. Conduct quality assessments, observation meetings, live listening, and side-by-side coaching sessions to ensure high-quality work.
  6. Prepare weekly and monthly departmental reports for management.
  7. Create weekly/monthly rotas, including overtime, to ensure effective service coverage and workforce planning.
  8. Address client service issues promptly, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
  9. Present health and safety training to clients and non-client groups via video conference or in-person.
  10. Liaise with external enforcement agencies on behalf of clients, subject to senior management approval.
  11. Research information required for detailed health and safety guidance and technical support.
  12. Assist in writing Guidance Notes, Standard Phrases, and Checklists.
  13. Support projects across the department, facilitating effective communication and implementation.
  14. Attend formal meetings as necessary, adhering to the Employee Handbook.
