Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation and control systems for wastewater treatment processes.
  • Develop and maintain PLC programs using TIA Portal and RSlogix5000.
  • Configure and troubleshoot SCADA systems using WINCC, AVEVA Intouch, and Ignition.
  • Collaborate with process engineers and other disciplines to resolve automation-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and corporate guidelines for site engineering and maintenance.
  • Partner with tendering department to specify automation projects, including hardware and programming requirements.
  • Manage automation projects from specification to validation within budget and corporate guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in electrical, electronics, or instrumentation.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in industry, preferably in water, wastewater, or related fields.
  • Expertise in Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI programming software.
  • Proficiency in SQL servers and OPC servers.
