Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Oversee planning, installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Supervise electricians, apprentices and subcontractors on-site.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications and work scopes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients and other trades.
  • Monitor progress, perform inspections, testing and quality control.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician with National Craft Certificate or relevant degree.
  • Minimum 5 years' commercial/industrial electrical experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase power, lighting, fire alarms and data cabling.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Experience with RAMS, permit-to-work systems and other safety documentation.
  • Electrical Testing & Verification qualification and IOSH Managing Safely training desirable.
