Job Title

A skilled BIM Technician is required to join our team, responsible for creating detailed 3D models and coordinated MEP drawings using Revit and related software tools.

About the Role

This challenging position involves working with engineers and project teams to produce accurate and detailed BIM models. The ideal candidate will support the design and coordination of building services systems in line with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality 3D models for mechanical and electrical building services using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with project engineers to develop coordinated BIM models for all building services.
  • Create drawing sets for all project stages, including tender, construction, and as-built documentation.
  • Support BIM project setup, including model maintenance, templates, and content libraries.
  • Participate in clash detection processes using tools like Navisworks, and coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural).
  • E nsure compliance with company BIM standards and client-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
  • Assist in developing and maintaining BIM workflows and processes to improve productivity and quality.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2–4 years' experience as a BIM Technician in an M&E or building services environment.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP is essential; experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical services layouts, schematics, and coordination techniques.
  • Knowledge of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., PAS 1192 / ISO)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant technical qualification (e.g., Building Services, Engineering, or Architectural Technology).
