The role of Vendor Management Specialist at FBD is to deliver excellence in claims management, focusing on managing service providers, monitoring the quality of the services delivered, and providing support to the Claims Department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Assistant Claims Manager with the delivery of the claims service provider management framework for allocated service providers.
- Ensure compliance with FBD's Outsourcing Policy and Procurement Policy & Procedure, liaising with the FBD Head of Procurement & Outsourcing Governance and the FBD Risk Function.
- Comply with relevant regulatory requirements, such as the Consumer Protection Code and Data Protection legislation, and liaise with the FBD Compliance Function and FBD Data Protection Function as required.
- Establish and maintain contracts with each provider, or obtain an agreement from the Head of Procurement & Outsourcing Governance if contracts are not necessary in specific circumstances.
- Maintain timely contract updates.
- Monitor service levels and ensure the delivery of key performance indicators, including ownership of periodic business review meetings with service providers.
- Built strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Drove continuous improvement in customer experience and cost savings.
- Engaged with all stakeholders and sought resolution on claims vendor performance issues.
