Job Title: Senior Structural Engineering Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of structural engineers and technicians in designing building infrastructure schemes. As a Senior Structural Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for effectively controlling the commercial, managerial, and technical aspects of projects or parts for which you are accountable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the sourcing of opportunities and preparation of fee proposals for submission to clients, including resources and programme.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in designing building infrastructure schemes, ensuring that work is carried out to the appropriate technical standard and managed to programme and budget.
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures, and structural principles.
  • Undertake structural engineering projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate.
  • Supervise work, ensuring that it is carried out to the appropriate technical standard and that it is managed to programme and budget.
  • Deliver design solutions and assessment calculations, lead teams, and successfully manage projects.
  • Have a solid track record of having worked on various structures projects, possibly as project leader on some, with experience of dealing directly with clients.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Knowledge and experience of the local Dublin marketplace.
Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng).
  • Member of either the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE) and/or the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
