We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Galway. As a key member of our product development squad, you will be responsible for ensuring quality is engineered into every aspect of the product.

Responsibilities:

  1. You will produce automated tests for each story within each sprint, guaranteeing seamless integration and efficient delivery.
  2. You will collaborate closely with the Squad Lead, analysts, developers, business specialists, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure quality at every step.
  3. Your contributions will result in a fully automated product with a direct positive impact on user experience.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Agile methodologies, with a strong understanding of its principles and practices.
  2. Confidence to champion quality engineering and drive initiatives that improve sprint deliveries.
  3. Expertise in Java is essential, with experience in API testing and test automation using established frameworks like Karate, Rest Assured.
  4. Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin and communication skills that prioritize collaboration.
  5. Strong analytical and technical skills to address sophisticated issues, with the ability to perform root cause analysis on defects.
  6. High level of dedication, initiative, vision, and passion, with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new environments.
  7. Jira and Xray experience is a plus, as is experience with Jenkins CI/CD, job creation, and maintenance.
