We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team on a variety of water and infrastructure projects in Ireland and Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience in project engineering, with a strong technical background in electrical engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all site operations and ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Prepare detailed reports and submissions for clients, including method statements and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to obtain quotes and schedule resources.
- Monitor and update project progress against the contract program, ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, collaborating with sub-contractors, resident engineers, and employed tradespeople.
- Manage financial aspects of projects, including tracking costs and reporting.
- Plan and coordinate crew schedules and subcontractor activities.
- Update construction drawings and vendor packages, as well as compile operational manuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in project engineering roles, preferably within the water and wastewater industry.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD software and ability to update drawings.
- Experience in plant design, construction, and commissioning.
- Excellent technical, delivery, and commercial skills.
- Ability to work closely with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
