Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing high-quality support to stakeholders.

This role involves overseeing the preparation of comprehensive project inventories, reviewing and validating inventory data against expenditure and pipeline projects, and publishing summary details of all procurements over €10m on our website.

In addition, the candidate will coordinate the completion of mandatory QA checklists as set out in the Public Spending Code, provide guidance and quality review of inputs, and collaborate with internal audit and external experts to support independent assurance.

The role also includes compiling findings from these steps into a short, clear summary report, which will be signed by the Accounting Officer and published by the end of May each year.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, auditing, public administration, governance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, audit, compliance, or project governance.
  • Strong knowledge of the Public Spending Code and public sector governance requirements.
