Job Overview

This is a challenging role that involves working in a collaborative environment with structured career progression and meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely financial reports for management
  • Submit accurate statutory and regulatory reporting
  • Assist in Group Magnitude reporting and support senior management presentations
  • Reconcile monthly control accounts and general ledger balances
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, escalating when necessary
  • Prepare and review journal entries for upload onto financial systems
  • Maintain audit trails and evidence for reconciliations and controls
  • Document and enhance financial processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls
  • Collaborate on system updates to support efficient reporting
  • Partner across departments (Finance, Sales, Procurement) to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support the Finance team during annual audit activities
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and contribute to departmental improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification
  • Minimum 4 years' accounting experience
  • Proficient in IFRS reporting and financial reconciliation
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and financial systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proven communication and relationship-building ability
  • Adaptability to work independently and within teams, often under time pressure
  • A proactive mindset and readiness to take on varied duties and projects
