Key Tax Technology Leadership Role

This is a high-profile position that requires an experienced tax technology professional to lead our team in delivering innovative solutions to clients.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth through effective management of tax technology projects, and a strong background in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems.

They will be responsible for cultivating a unique blend of tax and technology skills within the team, and for developing and implementing systems and analytics that meet tax business needs.

This role involves ensuring clients can keep pace with the changing tax and legal landscape, and will require identifying and researching problems, driving their resolution through the preparation and presentation of well-thought-out proposals.

About the Role

We are seeking a director with a strong background in EPM systems, preferably familiar with Tax Reporting and Provisioning, Transfer Pricing, and Intercompany Recharges.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering Enterprise Performance Processes, ideally Tax Reporting (TRCS), Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM), Financial Consolidation and Close, Planning and Budgeting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive business growth through effective management of tax technology projects.
  • Develop and implement systems and analytics that meet tax business needs.
  • Cultivate a unique blend of tax and technology skills within the team.
  • Identify and research problems, drive their resolution through the preparation and presentation of well-thought-out proposals.

This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

About You

A degree in Finance, Data Science, or equivalent degree course; proven experience in tax and/or ERP technology solution architecture design; previous project management and delivery experience; efficient communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with Oracle modules, EPM, EPCM, TRCS, Anaplan, Longview, One Stream, Board, SAP PAPM, Thomson Reuters, or equivalent, along with a strong understanding of transfer pricing legislation and methodologies, is preferred.

The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate resilience and hard work is essential for this role.
