We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our residential care team as a Multi-Task Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support across various functions within the nursing home, including laundry, catering, and cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kitchen Assistant: Ensure health, safety, food handling, and infection control standards are followed in the catering area. Assist the Catering Supervisor/Cook with ordering, receiving, and maintaining food in accordance with safe practices and legislation.
  • Housekeeping Assistant: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursing home. Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and mopping various areas, including kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces.
  • Laundry Assistant: Prepare residents' laundry, sorting soiled clothing and linen for processing. Adhere to health, safety, fire, and infection control standards in the laundry area.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid certificates in Infection Control, Chemical Awareness, Food Handling, HACCP, Manual Handling, Resident Moving & Handling, and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (training can be provided if needed).
  • Previous experience in elderly care within a residential care home setting is preferred.
