We are seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join our team on a one year contract, hybrid working arrangement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with property transactions and general legal queries to support the implementation of the company's strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transferring property ownership and rights in connection with property purchases and sales
  • Preparing transactional documentation and undertaking title due diligence
  • Drafting first registration applications and dealing with complex title issues

You will also advise on a full range of other property title and conveyancing issues including boundary disputes, rights of way, turbary, and other burdens on the estate.

Liaising with the Title Researcher to ensure the records of the estate remain up to date is also a key aspect of this role.


Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years relevant post-qualification experience

Experience in Property Law and Conveyancing essential

Practical, hands-on attitude in dealing with a high volume of legal transactions and ability to work on own initiative

Good aptitude in reading maps

Excellent organisational, communication skills, and ICT skills, and the ability to use a legal case management system

Experience in broader commercial matters desirable
