Maintenance Engineer at Vickerstock

We are working with one of Ireland's biggest food brands to assist with the expansion of their maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and schedule maintenance to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
  2. Perform electrician and mechanical maintenance, including reactive breakdowns and preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, shredders, balers, and separation equipment.
  3. Collaborate with equipment suppliers on new installations and modifications.
  4. Troubleshoot PLC programs.
  5. Maintain other site equipment to ensure plant availability and efficiency.
  6. Monitor line and machine performance closely.
  7. Implement preventative and predictive maintenance routines.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Ideal experience: 2+ years.
  3. Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
