Leasing Product Director Job Description

The Leasing Product Director is responsible for driving the development of Element's long-term leasing product strategy. The role requires working closely with the Vice President of Leasing & Related Products to identify new market opportunities and develop innovative products.

  • Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to identify new market opportunities and target markets for leasing.
  • Support the VP of Leasing & Related Products in defining recommended value drivers aligned to individual target markets.
  • Identify and assess new leasing products and business models to meet market opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with FP&A (and other key stakeholders) to develop the business case, budget, and capital requirements for new leasing products.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Alliances (and other key stakeholders) to understand buy vs. build options for new leasing products.
  • Support the VP of Leasing & Related Products in liaising with Commercial Leasing and Corporate Marketing teams to execute product-marketing specific capabilities and thought leadership development.
  • Develop leasing product KPIs and analyze their performance to inform product strategy updates.
  • Attend Leasing Data & Analytics Oversight Committee as a representative for leasing product data, measurement, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
  • 10+ years of leasing industry experience, preferably in financial services, operations, or customer service.
  • Extensive business acumen and deep understanding of business objectives.
  • Ability to navigate and work across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong relationship management experience working with cross-functional internal business partners.
