Job Description

As a Fresh Meat Assistant with Supervalu, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the Meat Department. This role involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, implementing planograms, controlling stock rotation, managing waste and shrink, and enhancing product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by ensuring SOPs and store standards are met on a daily basis.
  • Implement planograms correctly.
  • Control stock rotation to maintain quality and freshness.
  • Manage waste and shrink in the department.
  • Enhance product knowledge by gathering information from various sources and sharing ideas.
