Job Title: Occupational Health Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of employees and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on occupational health activities.
- Develop and implement occupational health procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practice.
- Conduct risk assessments, training needs analysis, PPE surveys, and occupational health and hygiene surveys.
- Investigate incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Publish regular reports on incidents.
- Work with external medical resources to identify and control occupational health hazards.
- Maintain records of occupational health documentation using software.
- Monitor and review site-specific health and safety KPIs.
- Train staff on occupational health issues and responsibilities.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an occupational health role.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
