Process Engineering and CNC SpecialistThis position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in CNC machining, engineering principles, and process improvement techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and validate CNC part programs for lathes and mills.
- Adjust G Code to meet drawing specifications.
- Provide support with tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
- Validate every job coming through – checking CAD drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
- Work with AutoCAD and CAD software to support process design and job validation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive corrective actions.
- Train operators and line leads on process changes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Prepare BOMs, routings, and technical documentation.
- Support customer communication by understanding requirements and feeding into process solutions.
- Manage tasks handed over from the previous shift, ensuring smooth continuity.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years' experience in a CNC/machine shop environment.
- Strong hands-on CNC machining experience (lathes and/or mills).
- Exposure to G Code editing / cut experience.
- Background as a technician or lead CNC operator with workshop experience.
- Comfortable in both workshop and office/desk-based tasks.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, ideally AutoCAD.
- Understanding of engineering standards and manufacturing methods.
- MS Office skills, especially Excel.
