We are a reputable hospital in Dublin, Ireland, offering a wide range of medical services to our patients. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care, and we are seeking a talented Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Hematology to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain protocols related to all sections of the lab and associated testing equipment.
  • Implement operational procedures that adhere to 'best practice' standards.
  • Ensure compliance with EU Directive on Blood and Blood Products, as well as INAB Accreditation standards, if applicable.
  • Manage workload during peak hours and oversee multiple concurrent tests.
  • Participate in the department's 'on call' schedule, as needed.
  • Contribute to the execution of quality management initiatives and engage in quality assurance and control activities both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with CORU.
  • Minimum 1 year of service training across all disciplines.
