Senior Audit Specialist Role

We are seeking a Senior Audit Specialist to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.

  • Plan and execute audits to ensure high-quality results.
  • Supervise staff on assignment and act as main point of client contact onsite.
  • Direct the preparation and completion of reports, accounts, and financial statements for multiple concurrent engagements.

This role requires:

  • A degree in accounting or finance (ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years external audit experience from a reputable firm.
  • Financial services audit experience within banking clients is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough audits to identify areas of improvement.
  2. Mentor assistants by counselling and assisting them in managing all aspects of their work lives and obtaining career objectives.
  3. Develop and implement effective audit strategies to meet client needs.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
