About the Role

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a highly experienced Process Control Systems Expert to join our team.

Job Summary

This leadership role provides technical guidance and expertise for automation support of manufacturing operations in accordance with appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety guidelines. As a Process Control Systems Expert, you will provide mentorship to Process Automation Engineers on process control system configuration, change control implementation, deviation investigation, Computer System Validation (CSV) consultation, data mining and analysis, and routine automation computer system support activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise for automation support of manufacturing operations
  • Mentor Process Automation Engineers on process control system configuration and other key areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with site and project requirements
  • Implement best practices for system reliability, scalability, and efficiency
  • Program and configure automation systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA solutions
