Job Opportunity:

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a visionary Director of Nursing to spearhead the nursing team and drive excellence in resident care.

The successful candidate will possess outstanding leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a profound understanding of nursing practices and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nursing strategies to ensure high-quality patient care, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide guidance and support to the nursing team, fostering their growth and development in achieving performance goals.

  • Maintain vigilance on resident care outcomes and quality metrics, identifying areas for enhancement and improvement.

  • Effectively manage staffing levels to guarantee adequate coverage while optimizing operational efficiency.

  • Sponsor training initiatives for new nurses and facilitate continuous professional development for existing staff members.

  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and implement a strategic business plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver effective and efficient care.

  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements pertinent to the nursing home setting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
  • Qualification in Management
  • Active NMBI Registration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within last 5 years, in a leadership role in a Nursing home setting
  • Strong understanding of nursing practices, HIQA regulations, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience managing budgets and resources
  • Excellent Leadership qualities
