Cheeverstown House seeks a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Mental Health and Intellectual Disability team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct specialist nursing care to individuals with dual diagnosis of Intellectual Disability and mental health diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care and supports that cater to the diverse needs of our service users.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Promote positive behaviour support and evidence-based practices in accordance with best clinical standards.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
Requirements:
- Registration as an RNID or RPN on the NMBI register of Nurses and Midwives.
- A minimum of three years post-registration experience, with two years in the specialised MHID area.
- Formal recognised post-registration education in Mental Health, Positive Behaviour Support, or a related area at Higher Diploma level or equivalent.
- Demonstrate ongoing professional development and commitment to continuing education.
- Possess a full clean driving licence and access to a car.
