Job Opportunity

Our client is one of Ireland's largest FMCG exporters, with a global presence and annual sales of €3.4bn.

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to support our UK and European operations.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all UK legal matters, advising on commercial agreements, marketing initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including sales, distribution, sponsorship, procurement, logistics, and digital services.
  • Advise on marketing and promotional activities, working closely with regulatory and IP colleagues.
  • Lead on compliance initiatives across sustainability, data privacy, competition, anti-bribery, and cyber security.
  • Manage disputes, litigation, and settlements, liaising with external counsel where required.
  • Proactively identify risks and guide colleagues with practical, business-oriented solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years' PQE with a strong commercial contracts background.
  • Previous in-house experience, ideally within FMCG or food & beverage.
  • Intellectual property experience (preferred but not essential).
  • A collaborative, commercially-minded approach with strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise a diverse workload, and partner effectively with functions including marketing, innovation, procurement, and sustainability.
