Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee our building project in Ireland.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting out the works and ensuring that foremen and operatives clearly understand the information provided.
  • Reviewing information from drawings, specifications, etc., to ensure clarity for foremen, operatives, and subcontractors.
  • Testing materials as directed by your supervisor/line manager in accordance with relevant specifications.
  • Conducting quality reviews on site regarding rebar and concrete placement.
  • Reviewing technical submissions before uploading to the design team to ensure the correct areas of work are addressed.
  • Overseeing concrete testing and results.
  • Guiding subcontractors regarding works to be carried out in some instances.
  • Preparing technical method statements.
  • Managing traffic on site, coordinating works within a busy location.
  • Recording daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in your site diary.
  • Pursuing personal development and training proactively, completing work-based development programs in a timely manner.
  • Performing work safely, reporting any unsafe practices.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all personnel.
  • Monitoring and checking setting out instruments and testing equipment.
  • Maximizing profit through good self-management, accuracy, and elimination of re-work.
About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a third-level qualification in Engineering and proven experience in setting out or working as a Site Engineer.

A strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations is essential, as well as excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, etc.
