Senior Programme and Communications Specialist

Seeking a Senior Programme and Communications Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing DRI's core programme of work, including project planning, budget management, strategic planning, project delivery, and reporting.
This is a maternity leave cover contract with a fixed term duration. The role will involve delivering DRI's communications strategy, editorial and strategic management of DRI's communications channels, and identification and development of DRI's audiences.
- Work closely with the DRI Director in the day-to-day operations of the DRI to support efficient strategic planning, a well-functioning team, and timely achievement of deliverables
- Project manage DRI's core programme of work and assist with the management of DRI's research-funded projects
- Draft key narrative and financial reports and proposals to funders and partners for review and sign-off by the DRI Director
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of digital repositories, and experience in project management. They should also have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective communications strategies.

The Senior Programme and Communications Manager will play a key role in supporting the DRI Director in the day-to-day operations of the DRI. They will also be responsible for administering and supporting DRI budget operations, including budget forecasting, tracking income and expenditure, payment reconciliation, and assisting with purchasing and procurement.
