Job Description

This is a challenging role for an experienced Quantity Surveyor and Estimator who can manage quantities, prepare pricing documents, and obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Estimation & Proposals Lead to ensure high-quality estimates are produced on time.

  • Prepare accurate estimates and pre-construction budgets based on drawings and specifications
  • Manage quantities and create pricing documents
  • Obtain quotes from Irish and European subcontractors and suppliers
  • Analyze and compare subcontractor bids and quotations
  • Maintain cost databases and regional metrics
  • Present estimates to senior management as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimation
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in QS BQ production software packages (e.g. Buildsoft or CostX)
  • A full Irish driving licence
