Job Title: Strategic AI Finance Director

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our organization's AI transformation initiative. As a Strategic AI Finance Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing autonomous AI agents that execute finance-related tasks with deterministic outcomes.

Your primary goal will be to embed agentic automation into core financial processes, driving accuracy, compliance, and measurable performance improvements. This role requires exceptional communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across teams and align stakeholders in a fast-paced global environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the strategic business case for agentic AI in finance
  • Align AI initiatives with organizational goals, including cost center optimization and transaction reduction targets
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI agents capable of decomposing Statements of Work (SOWs) into executable steps with deterministic outcomes
  • Oversee the integration of reusable AI skills and workflows into finance systems
  • Ensure robust governance, including human-in-the-loop oversight, auditability, and compliance with financial reporting standards and data protection regulations
  • Promote AI literacy and responsible automation across the finance function
  • Build and deploy continuous improvement methodologies to achieve targeted deliverables
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and extensive finance or process transformation experience
  • Experience with governance, compliance, and risk management in financial environments
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, agentic systems, and deterministic workflows
  • Proven experience in finance operations, ideally within a transformation or automation context
