About Your Career
Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our team in Kilkenny. As a specialist in this role, you will execute highly complex or specialized work. You will apply your comprehensive knowledge acquired from several years of experience or specialist training in particular area to resolve problems.
Main Tasks
Your key tasks will include:
- Executing technical procedures in one or more of the following areas: Production, Research and Development, Quality Control/Assurance, and/or Compliance/Environmental.
- Conducting laboratory support functions such as stocking and distributing supplies and equipment, arranging and dismantling apparatus, and collecting, washing, and storing glassware.
- Making and recording observations.
- Collecting and preparing data for evaluation.
- Performing technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
Requirements
Third level Science / Manufacturing or equivalent qualification is required. Preferred two years' work experience in a Manufacturing / Science / Quality or equivalent environment. Electron beam or other sterilisation technologies experience is desirable.
