Community Support Professional

About the Role
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care. They must also have 1 year of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams are essential. A full driver's license and availability of own car are also required.
Key Responsibilities
The Social Care Worker will be responsible for:
* Supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities
* Providing person-centred support and care to individuals, promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
* Coordinating house teams and ensuring adequate cover for resident's support
* Assisting with daily tasks, such as household management and personal care
* Developing and implementing individualised plans to support residents' goals and aspirations
