Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

The successful Electrical Engineer will be part of a team that delivers innovative solutions to complex built environment challenges with creativity, technical expertise and passion.

About the Role
  • Lead diverse design projects primarily in healthcare but also across other sectors.
  • Project planning and management including resource allocation and fee control.
  • Prepare design contract documentation and specifications.
  • Review and design work of intermediate and junior engineers.
  • Design electrical systems including distribution, power, lighting and fire detection.
  • Coordinate work with design teams architects engineers and QS members.
  • Ensure designs and documents meet the highest standards.
  • Estimate procure and manage project costs.
  • Compile project reports.
  • Conduct conceptual design studies and reports.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Liaise with supply chain and contractors for MEP installations.
Requirements
  • Master's or degree in Electrical Services engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 9+ years post-qualification experience in consultancy environments.
  • Substantial experience in designing healthcare projects.
  • Chartered Engineer status or close to achieving status.
  • Technical expertise with in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Experience leading design teams and using Revit software.
  • Proven teamwork and adaptability skills.
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Competence in electrical design software and excellent communication skills.
  • High motivation and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing Building Services Electrical systems.
  • Core knowledge of Building Services Mechanical systems.
