We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Process Optimizer to join our organization. This key role ensures efficient production, high-quality output, and a strong culture of continuous improvement.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will design and optimize manufacturing processes, implement standard operating procedures, manage production teams, and drive lean manufacturing initiatives. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position requires a high level of expertise in process optimization, team management, and quality control.

About the Role:

  1. Design and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  2. Develop and maintain SOPs for consistent and safe production.
  3. Manage and mentor production teams while promoting accountability and ongoing development.
  4. Establish and oversee production schedules and staffing plans to meet delivery and quality targets.
  5. Lead lean manufacturing efforts to reduce waste and improve workflow.
  6. Work with engineering and quality teams to ensure smooth production and delivery.
  7. Oversee equipment, inventory, and material planning to support production needs.
  8. Identify and execute opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  9. Ensure manufacturing operations adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards.
  10. Play a leading role in scaling up operations, including facility layout planning and recruitment of mechanical and electrical assembly teams.

Requirements:

  • Level 7 Degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing management role, ideally within electro-mechanical or custom-built industrial equipment environments.
  • Solid practical experience applying lean principles and 5S methodology.
  • Background in metal fabrication is advantageous.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes and SOPs.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and build effective production teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Systems Proficiency: Experienced with production planning and resource management tools.
