Job Overview

The Bank of Ireland is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and execution of its outsourcing strategy. As Head of Outsourced Services, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the bank's overall business goals.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in management, leadership, and strategic planning to drive the bank's outsourcing efforts forward. You will work closely with senior executives and colleagues across various departments to deliver target outcomes and ensure seamless execution of the outsourcing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the outsourcing strategy aligned with the bank's group strategy
- Lead the measurement and oversight of benefits realization arising from the implementation of the outsourcing strategy
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of experts and professionals within the CoE
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of an up-to-date, comprehensive and robust outsourcing risk and controls environment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

- Significant experience in management and leadership, ideally within the financial services industry
- A proven track record in leading and managing teams, preferably within a CoE or similar strategic function
- Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to drive and embed change
