Audit Senior Role

This is a senior position in a reputable accounting firm, seeking an experienced Practice Accountant/Audit Senior to lead audits on various businesses.


Reporting directly to the Audit Partners, you will oversee audits of diverse clients, including large-scale assignments. The firm has recently secured new business opportunities in the financial sector, providing a chance to work with prominent organisations.


Leveraging the firm's paperless audit system, this role offers the flexibility to work from the office most of the time, rather than remote locations. A healthy work-life balance, flexible hours, and a competitive remuneration package are also provided.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Auditing a range of clients, from small-medium enterprises to large groups
  • Managing/leading audits from planning to completion
  • General practice work, including accounts preparation, tax, and consulting services
  • Additional tasks as required
About You:
  • You should be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting and auditing standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Caseware accounting software (advantageous but not essential)
  • A proven ability to train and mentor junior staff members
