Senior HSE Advisor

The role of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) specialist is to provide expert advice and support in all aspects of HSE across our business. This includes advising on legislative regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for promoting a positive HSE culture and workplace environment by providing guidance and coaching to managers and team members.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE and experience in auditing, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Act as the HSE advisor for the business, providing guidance on regulatory compliance and company policies and procedures.
- Help coach managers to complete risk assessments and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate incidents and help managers develop preventative actions.
- Develop localised initiatives to drive HSE standards.
- Support team members as needed.
- NEBOSH General Certificate qualification or equivalent.
- Quality auditing skills for process audits.
- Awareness of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 an advantage.
- Background in hire industry, logistics, warehousing or construction an advantage.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and PC systems for reporting purposes.
