Cpl Resources - Teg is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Blarney. This exciting opportunity involves directing and coordinating technical and maintenance activities in support of production, ensuring a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly work environment.

The Role:

As Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying equipment issues and reliability through data analysis. You will apply effective methods of preventative and corrective maintenance, review and optimize existing Preventative Maintenance Activities (PM Optimization), and develop and track KPIs to measure equipment and maintenance performance.

  • MTBF, MTTR, OEEs, schedule attainment, labour utilisation, work order backlog, PM/calibration completion rates, spare usage, and costs control

You will champion asset condition management using new technologies like non-intrusive testing, predictive maintenance, and monitoring to maximize uptime and identify signs of early failure. Additionally, you will supervise employees, allocate work, coordinate training, and deal with issues up to the counseling stage of the disciplinary process.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of technicians
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and increase productivity
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and analyze data to improve processes
  • Collaborate with the Quality department to ensure compliance with quality standards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have an Engineering Degree (Level 8) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a recognized equivalent. You should also have at least 8+ years of experience in an Engineering/Maintenance Leadership role, preferably within the Life Science, Medical Device, and/or Pharmaceutical Industry.

Familiarity with GMP requirements within a regulated industry, strong analytical skills, and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Strong organizational, time management, and planning abilities, as well as computer literacy in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., are also required.
