Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist to join our team at Beacon Hospital Group. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation treatment according to written prescription and treatment plan, ensuring the quality and consistency of treatment by taking and reviewing pre-treatment verification images.
- Collect and document data acquired during simulation procedures, accurately inputting treatment-related data into the patient management system.
- Notify appropriate staff of changes in patient status, perform or assist others in proper aseptic techniques, isolation procedures, and infection control measures.
Requirements
- Completion of a postgraduate study program and/or ongoing professional development.
- Experience in implementing new technology and procedures, training junior staff, and maintaining familiarity with administrative tasks associated with departmental operations.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes, while adhering to hospital-wide policies and guidelines.
