Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced theatre nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the operating theatre suite/endoscopy suite. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based care to patients undergoing surgery.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in theatre nursing and possess a relevant theatre qualification. They will also be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and hold Basic Life Support Training certification.

The role will involve working as an integral member of the team, assisting consultant surgeons in surgical procedures, and maintaining high standards of nursing care in pre-operative and post-operative planning, implementation, and patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
  • Basic Life Support Training certification
  • 2 years of experience in theatre nursing
  • Relevant theatre qualification (advantageous)
