Key Warehouse Strategist Role

We are seeking a skilled and analytical individual to fill the role of Key Warehouse Strategist in our collaborative hub. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maximising warehouse efficiency and ensuring seamless operations.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will have ownership of stock reconciliation processes, financial performance monitoring, and complaint resolution. They will also be responsible for chairing performance reviews with warehouses, developing strategic plans, and driving process improvements.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead stock reconciliation efforts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective complaint resolution processes.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with warehouses to drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Fulfilment and Warehousing management team to develop strategic plans.
  • Support the development of the Monthly S&OP forecast review.
  • Foster a culture of excellence within Warehousing and across the Logistics and Planning department.
  • Analyse network visibility and KPI data to drive performance improvement.
  • Work closely with the other 3PL Inventory Manager to develop common processes and SOPs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to problem-solve effectively.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Able to control large initiatives under a program of work.
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and SAP or equivalent ERP system.
  • Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or independently.
