About the Job:

As a Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or associated mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour and be able to create a safe and supportive environment.

You will work in a dynamic team to deliver person-centred support, focusing on empowerment and independence.

Maintaining accurate records, administering medication, and adhering to regulatory frameworks are essential responsibilities for this role.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required to work effectively with colleagues and service users.

Main Responsibilities:">
  • Deliver person-centred support to service users, focusing on empowerment and independence.
  • Provide assistance to service users in all aspects of personal care.
  • Ensure a safe environment is maintained at all times for both service users, work colleagues, and visitors to the unit/house.
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily paperwork, risk assessments, and medication administration.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">

This role requires a third-level qualification in Social Care or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar role.

You should also have a minimum of 2 years' employment experience in a similar role, such as Day Services, Domiciliary Care, or Residential Care.

A full UK/ROI driving licence and access to a car (or alternative means of transport) are essential for this position.
