Journal of Music is offering a residency program for skilled musicians to create new work, develop their skills, and collaborate with other artists. The scheme provides a space to work in, as well as advice and mentoring to support career development.

The resident musicians will have an opportunity to engage with audiences at open rehearsals, workshops, and public performances. Two residencies are available: one for established musicians and one for emerging musicians. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate a strong connection to the area or propose a project that links with it.

The residency will run from May to November and will provide funding and resources to support the musicians' work. The closing date for applications is subject to change, but interested candidates should submit their proposals by 2pm on the specified deadline.
