Job Title: CAD/Revit Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAD/Revit Technician to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting drawings and design outputs using Revit/AutoCAD software.

  • You will develop detailed infrastructure design drawings, including structural drawings.
  • Production of drainage/utility/service drawings, including stormwater design, foul sewer design, watermain design, bulk earthworks & levels, lines/signs and traffic calming (within residential development) – DMURS Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading the drafting of civil engineering site development drawings for both design and construction projects (primarily residential projects ranging in scale from 50 to 500 units).
  2. Knowledge of the requirements of the Irish planning system especially with regards civil design.
  3. Knowledge of both Revit and AutoCAD.
  4. Work independently without needing significant help from others, and provide guidance and support to other members of the team.
  5. Assume ownership of work, and work with project engineers to ensure timely delivery.
  6. Efficient work methods, working both as part of team and on own initiative.
  7. The ability to manage several priorities at once will be required as well as a high level of commitment to success.
  8. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required.
  9. The ability to adopt and work to new procedures and systems.
