Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Junior to join our team in Tipperary, Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring all site activity and reporting on observations. They will collaborate with all disciplines to ensure Quality Assurance and implement Quality Control on Construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly to the QA/QC Manager
  • Implementing quality programs across the organization
  • Auditing construction activities and monitoring work in progress
  • Ensuring procedures are followed to provide traceability from initial order to field installation
  • Maintaining inspection and test plans
  • Recommendating preventative measures to ensure quality
  • Creating and presenting non-conformance reports
  • Coordinating quality related activities with site owner quality staff and assisting with client expectations
  • Reviewing and processing technical documents
  • Assisting with maintenance of project files and preparation of reports
Requirements:
  • ISO 9000 program experience is considered an asset
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a QA/QC related role and industrial work environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as high attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Self-motivated with ability to work towards goals and objectives with limited daily oversight
