Looking for a leadership opportunity that brings out the best in your team and guests? As a Leisure Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a vibrant hospitality-led environment.

  • Ensure service standards are met by monitoring customer satisfaction and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive membership and revenue growth, with a focus on local engagement and community building.
  • Maintain high operational standards across leisure facilities, ensuring compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and legal regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and presentation of leisure facilities, including pool, gym, and public areas, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for guests.
  • Liaise with other departments, including Maintenance and Housekeeping, to ensure consistent facility standards and effective communication.
  • Develop and train team members, supporting their progression and fostering a positive working culture.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience within a fitness or leisure centre environment.
  • Strong ability to lead a team and deliver results in a fast-paced customer-focused setting.
  • Proven experience in achieving commercial targets and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and genuine passion for delivering great experiences.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Nationally recognised Fitness Instructor qualification (e.g. NCEF, ITEC, NCEHS).
  • In-date Occupational First Aid qualification including AED certification.
  • In-date Lifeguard qualification (fully certified).
