We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our team on a cutting-edge project.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record of success in technical business analysis.

You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery of complex solutions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong foundation in software development to join our team on a cutting-edge project.

This role involves working closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories.

You'll use JIRA to manage backlogs, sprints, and workflows effectively and write and execute SQL queries to analyse and validate data.

Facilitating agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, is also an important part of this role.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency with JIRA.

They will also be confident in SQL coding for data analysis and validation.

As a liaison between business and technical teams, the successful candidate will ensure alignment on priorities and goals.

Identifying and resolving technical and business challenges proactively is also an essential part of this role.

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Use JIRA to manage backlogs, sprints, and workflows effectively.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to analyse and validate data.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and goals.
  • Identify and resolve technical and business challenges proactively.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Background in software development (coding experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency with JIRA.
  • Confident in SQL coding for data analysis and validation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
