This is a crucially important role for the environment. As an Environmental Consultant, you will be part of a growing team dedicated to driving forward clean energy infrastructure projects.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to take the lead in delivering Environmental Impact Assessment Reports and Appropriate Assessments for major renewable energy developments.

Your key responsibilities will include leading the Environmental Impact Assessment process, delivering high-quality reports, providing expert environmental input, and contributing to policy submissions.

You will work closely with procurement, health & safety, and community consultation teams to achieve project goals.

  • Lead the Environmental Impact Assessment process for large-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Deliver high-quality EIAR and AA/NIS reports to support planning applications.
  • Provide expert environmental input across planning, strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Keep on top of legislative updates and contribute to policy submissions.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Level 8 Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (Level 9 Postgrad a bonus).
  • 5+ years' experience preparing EIARs and AA/NIS for large-scale projects.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through the EIA process.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish planning legislation and EIA requirements.
