Lead Pharmacist Role in Cork

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Pharmacist to join our team in Cork. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary and ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a pharmacist with a strong focus on patient safety and well-being;
  • A deep understanding of pharmacy guidelines and regulations;
  • The ability to effectively manage a team of pharmacists and support staff;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the daily operations of the dispensary, including stock control and inventory management;
  2. Ensuring that all patients receive accurate and timely advice on their medications;
  3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care;
  4. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and implementing changes as necessary;

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland;
  • 3 years' experience as a qualified pharmacist;
  • Strong leadership and management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
